Artist Statement ||

“For me, the process of translating experiences into abstract artwork is altogether wild, quiet, boisterous, beautiful, playful, passionate, sacred. I believe the visual art we surround ourselves with has the power to impact + uplift our lives. My desire for my work is that it would be a mirror to your heart, reminding you who you are again + calling you towards depth and incredible freedom. “

A Benediction

Would we live in broad color, in full gestures, in bold and tender movement. Would we give ourselves the space to be in process, to experiment with the resources at our fingertips (though unconventional they may be). Would we be willing to push through walls, to risk something good for something great, even if the bridge between the two looks messy or we are confronted with the temptation to think we’ve ruined it all. Would we always keep our eye out for beauty, and would we live with freedom of heart and fullness of being.
