LEAN CLOSER

I always tell collectors that my work is best experienced by standing back to take in the whole thing, and then leaning ALL the way in, nose-close to the canvas. Because of the large scale and many layers of texture and color present in my work, each painting ends up having so many subplots, harmonies, and secret rooms to explore. This series of archival quality, zoomed-in images is my way of inviting you deeper and closer into the intimate stories within my paintings.

Not only are they a beautiful way to add meaningful texture and color to your space, they are also a precious part of my legacy as an artist.

WHY LIMITED EDITION?

It’s a big commitment as an artist to print a run of Ltd. Editions. It means I am promising you as my collector that in my whole career I will never print them again. There will only be 10 of each in the world and they’ll be numbered and signed by my hand. This makes the print valuable now and increasingly over time. I’ve thought long and hard about this, because I deeply love them. I’ve chosen these three images from among thousands.

WHAT IS A GICLÉE?

Giclée is a French word describing the process of printing using many small spraying devises that apply ink and match color precisely. Giclée are considered the highest quality reproductions with rich and vibrant color renderings. These are printed with archival quality pigment and water color paper.
